At South Coast Private Hospital we want your stay to be comfortable. Please see the following items to bring on the day of your admission.

What to Bring with you

For your comfort, safety and ease of admission, we ask that you bring the following with you on arrival:

Arrival Checklist

– All relevant medical documents
– All current medications in their original containers.
Please note, all medication will need to be declared upon your admission and will be returned to you upon your discharge
– Medicare and private health insurance card
– Identification (for example drivers licence or other photo ID)
– Pension/Veterans Affairs details (if applicable)
– Pharmaceutical entitlements card
– Workers compensation/third party claims (if applicable)
– Glasses/hearing aids (if applicable)
– Comfortable clothing to wear throughout the duration of your stay
– Appropriate footwear which is to be worn at all times in hospital
– Nightwear which is to be worn in the privacy of your room
– Toiletries
– Reading material
– Walking aids if required

Please note: We ask that you leave all valuables, including jewellery and large amounts of money at home prior to your arrival.
